Morning Activities

It's been a lovely morning at Patterdale, cold but bright. I am delighted to report that we haven't had any rain, though I am very glad I brought thermals! The girls split off into groups and got ready for their actvities, which meant changing clothes several times and adding as many layers as possible. My group from yesterday went climbing with Mrs Hill this morning, I went canoeing with Rhea, Mathura, Monika, Olivia, Harriet, Emily, Esther and Grace Baker. The girls were given fleeces and waterproofs before getting in the canoes. They were brilliant, the girls demonstrated excellent teamwork and unfailing enthusiasm, I was very proud of them all.

On the lake we ran into Mrs Hughes and her group Summer, Poppy, Isobel Keith, Rebekah, Alexandra, Freya Eloise and Jemima. There wasn't enough wind to sail so the girls went in a power boat around the lake.

Mrs Callaway and her group Lara, Christie, Jemma, Lottie, Gabriella, Molly, Natasha and Jodie had a go at archery and the ropes course. A fun morning was had by all. The girls are now tucking into their lunch before they head off to the next activity of the day. I will post again later. Thank you for your comments.
